Forget Wikipedia! On the strength of just three tracks, GLACIALE manages to present itself as a top-notch miniature compendium of everything that is great about minimal.
There's one-tone psycho-electro running on tribal woodblocks, sonar blips and delirious Kubrick-esque choir voices (BENNO BLOME's take on DOMINIO), bone-dry techno feeding from a dominant bassline, horrifically distorted samples and frenzied bleeps (KABELTON's remix of GLACIALE) as well as deep, ambient, sequencer-driven cowbell-trance on the original mix of the title track cooked up by the Spanish minimal maestro himself.
Coming to think of it, there is absolutely nothing marginal whatsoever about this release, the first danceable dictionary in the history of music.
